Akagera Safari Camp

The camp is located outside the Akagera National Park on the southern side in Kayonza District. The camp boasts 29 spacious cottages and 1 family cottage. It also has a restaurant, coffee bar and lounge bar. It boasts an outdoor cascading swimming pool overlooking the Akagera national park. All the rooms offer stunning views of the Akagera National Park and the lake Ihema. They also have private balconies. The camp is located on a private land overlooking the Akagera National Park. It is surrounded by a private coffee and banana plantations. Access to the camp is off the main highway from Kayonza to Nyagatare. Turn left at Kabarondo if driving from Kayonza. Kabarondo is 30 km from Kayonza town. The camp is 24.3 km 33 minutes’ drive from kabarondo. From Kigali to camp is 2 hrs 37 mins (112.3 kms) The lodge also has a standard helipad on sight. Flying time from Kigali International Airport to the lodge is 25 minutes.
